Gray Jacobik is associate professor of English at Eastern Connecticut State University. Winner of the 1997 Yeats prize, she is also a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Creative Writing. Her poem Dust Storm is in Best American Poetry of 1997. She has been published in Ploughshares. Her new book, The Double Task (University of Massachusetts Press) is winner of the 1998 Juniper Prize. She is Radio Free Monterey's Mom.
