Re:Coming to this point in time... by John Doe We live in a strange time in history. Things are really tough. Most of our true humanity and love for one another, and above all compasion seems lost.Our labors are no longer valued, simply another commodity to be exploited very much in the same spirit as nature itself is. Although I don't listen as much as i'd like to, I just want to say that everyone at Radio Free Monterey is doing the public a tremendous world of good by helping to inspire and further the cause of free speech. The fight out there is going on NOW it's going on in my city and all across the country. Mental health problems can really be painful, I went through a severe case of depression in my late teens and early 20's. Now, I'm lucky enough to wonder if I suffered more or those around me. I was off medication after two years of therapy.Like I said, I'm very lucky. I beat depression somehow. We all view the world through our senses, hearts and minds. It takes a lot of courage for someone to see someone else through the hard times. Thanks, everyone for speaking your mind and bringing something valuable to my life. I'm definately still listening.
